In June 2000, founder and CEO, Clairmont Humphrey, established Streaming Praise Radio (SPRLiveFM); Canada’s first Gospel Internet Radio Station. SPRLiveFM serves listeners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is not only dedicated to bringing quality Christian music and illuminating talk shows to its listening audience, but it looks to engage with the community around it in various charitable capacities.
SPRLiveFM features a number of inspirational and progressive talk shows, as well as a number of exciting and illuminating sermons that capture the mind and soul of its listeners. It is truly fulfilling its mandate which is communicating the Gospel through music and the Spoken Word. The Praise Life Morning Show is its most popular show which gives a mix of music, commentary and interviews.
From traditional music to holy hip hop, SPRLiveFM is known for playing a wide variety of Christian music genres. Infamous for its commitment to the independent artist, this progressive radio station has truly earned its reputation of “the home of the independent artist”. SPRLiveFM prides itself in providing music from all over the globe.
Streaming Praise Radio’s newest exciting venture is its YouTube LIVE streaming shows, that are available on replay on its YouTube Channel, Streaming Praise Radio.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
SPRLiveFM is Canada’s first gospel internet radio station and Toronto’s first internet radio station. In 2020, during a pandemic, Streaming Praise Radio held its first annual Organ Donor Awareness Benefit Virtual Concert. This successful concert raised $730.
